Vodacom partners with Microsoft
Vodacom and Microsoft have come together to created a Connected Educational Platform that enables remote learning with affordable connectivity and also gives learners access you educational tools, apps and resources.
It seems Vodacom will provide the affordable data, educational apps and resources through the business edu data bundles and on the other side Microsoft will offer Microsoft Office 365 Education which is a cloud based service that offers apps like Teams, OneNote, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
With the work from home environment I am currently in I’m using most of those stuff from Microsoft and I’ve got to say they are solid stuff.
Microsoft Defender comes to Mobile
Remember Microsoft Defender, yeah their inhouse Antivirus that I said is beating some free antivirus softwares late last year, guess what it’s coming to Android as Microsoft Defender Mobile but I think it might be mostly coming for enterprise customers as most of the features that it has are all about that side of things.

The description says “Accidentally deleted an important file? Wiped clean your hard drive? Unsure of what to do with corrupted data? Google will start paying quality Publishers.
Google will be paying select news publishers for content in a service that they will be launching soon. This is a project that they are piloting in Germany, Brazil and Germany and they say they are talking with 6 other countries where it might also go to. On the flipside last I checked Facebook was going against Australian authorities whom said Facebook must pay for content but they’ve been saying nope when it comes to that.
Google Updates Security
Google has also automatically turned the privacy settings to delete everything on a certain profile after 18 months. That’s mainly for new profiles and with older ones they are busy sending out reminders asking you to change your own privacy settings which I think I did on mine by giving them a mere 3 months with my stuff.
